Smoking in vehicle with minor present. Provides that any person who smokes in a motor vehicle, whether in motion or at rest, when a minor under the age of 15 is in the motor vehicle is subject to a civil penalty of $100. The offense may be charged on a uniform traffic summons. Read the Bill »

We do not need laws to make people have common sense! I am a former smoker! I had children! I did not smoke in my house or in my car! If we establish a law about smoking in your vehicle with a minor present -- what's next? Not allowing a minor to eat at McDonalds? This is wrong! I do NOT support such a bill.

Roger- 10 Republican Senators voted for the bill too.
Debra- Actually there are a lot of people who don't have much common sense. And smokers can really help themselves. They're drug addicts.
